Privacy notice

Last updated 6 August 2026

This is a personal freelance website run by Jose Sebastian. It collects as little as it can get away with. This page explains exactly what that is.

What gets collected

When you use the contact form

The form sends your name, email address, company name, the service and budget you selected, and your message. That data goes to a private Google Sheet and to my email inbox. It is used solely to reply to your enquiry.

It is not sold, shared with third parties, or added to any marketing list. I keep enquiries so I have a record of past conversations; ask and I will delete yours.

When you browse the site

If analytics is enabled, this site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. GA4 sets cookies and records a truncated IP address, the pages you view, and general information like your browser and country.

It is not used to identify you individually and there are no advertising or remarketing tags on this site. You can block it with any tracker-blocking extension, or by enabling “Do Not Track” in browsers that still honour it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. I do not have access to individual visitor logs.

Cookies

The site itself sets one piece of local storage to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. It contains no personal data and never leaves your browser. Any other cookies come from Google Analytics, as described above.

Your rights

You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email iamjoseph.sebastian@gmail.com and I will action it — no form to fill in.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. The current version always lives at https://josesebastian.pages.dev/privacy/.
